To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a full-time international student commencing an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree (excluding Graduate Certificates and Global MBA courses) and meet the following criteria:

• Be a citizen of Hong Kong or Macau.
• Hold a full offer for an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree.
• Commence study in the session and year indicated in your scholarship letter of offer.
• Demonstrated academic merit in previous studies.
• Must not have received a scholarship or sponsorship from Macquarie University or another organisation (unless stated otherwise by the Scholarship Committee).

The Hong Kong Elite Scholarship is awarded to international students from Hong Kong and Macau who intend to pursue a coursework degree at Macquarie University. Among one of the most generous in Australia, this scholarship awards a one-off payment of up to AUD $15,000 towards your first year tuition fees.
