IDP stages Study, Explore, Soar: Australia & New Zealand Education Fair in Cebu & Manila

IDP Philippines lit up the second half of 2023 with the biggest Australia & New Zealand education fair held back-to-back in Cebu and Manila last August 12 and 13. 

Study, Explore, Soar: Australia & New Zealand Education Fair is IDP Philippines’ first destination specific fair following the success of the multi-destination international education fair held in March 2023. Study, Explore, Soar highlights IDP’s commitment to help Filipino students to study abroad, explore different cultures, and soar to achieve global success. 

More than 700 aspiring international students attended and had the opportunity to meet with thirty-five school representatives from Australia and New Zealand. 

Attendees also met and consulted with IDP Education Counselors who provided free consultation to help students determine the right school and course that suited their skillsets and interests. 

IDP also conducted free seminars on 'How to Study in Australia and New Zealand', and 'Why Students Should Study in Australia' presented by Ms. Kimberley Cuesta, Business Development Manager of Austrade. Talks were also conducted by international students bound to study and who have already studied in Australia.

IDP also showcased other services such as the IDP FastLane for attendees looking into studying a master’s degree in Australia. Attendees were also assisted and given recommendations on finding accommodation, having the proper health insurance, and utilizing bank transactions through IDP’s Student Essential Services. Attendees also had the privilege of applying for their chosen institution at the event and booking a follow up appointment with the Education Counselors. 

Students who were interested in taking their IELTS test to improve their opportunities for studying abroad were assisted by the IDP IELTS team present during the fair. Attendees who booked their IELTS test during the event were given exclusive promos and discounts.  

Study, Explore, Soar: Australia & New Zealand Education Fair 2023 Cebu leg was held at Seda Ayala Center, Cardinals Rosales Avenue, Cebu City, while the Manila leg was held at Dusit Thani Manila, Ayala Center, Makati City.
