IDP's Study, Explore, Soar: Canada Education Fair takes off in Cebu & Manila

IDP Philippines has made the month of September more exciting with the recent Canada Education Fair held back-to-back in Cebu and Manila last September 16 and 17, 2023.

Nearly 400 aspiring international students attended and had the opportunity to meet with a total of thirty-four school representatives from Canada. Study, Explore, Soar: Canada Education Fair is IDP Philippines’ second destination specific fair following the success of the Australia and New Zealand education fair held last August. 

Attendees had the chance to consult with IDP Education Counselors and attend seminars that helped them find the right school, course, and requirements matching their chosen field of study, skills, and interests. IDP students bound to Canada were also invited as guest speakers to talk about their journey before leaving to study in Canada and how IDP played a role in helping make their study abroad dream come true.

One seminar even featured the benefits of taking IELTS on computer, co-presented by Cevas Language Center and achieving IELTS success for the Study Direct Stream Pathway, co-presented by 9.0 Niner Review Center.

Exclusive scholarship grants were also offered to attendees and aspiring international students who availed of IDP’s free services. They also had the privilege of applying for their chosen institution at the event and booking a follow up appointment with the Education Counselors.

IDP also showcased other services such as the IDP FastLane. This special service enables students to check their eligibility, fast track their study abroad application, and receive an in-offer principle faster than the usual timeline. 

Students who were interested in taking their IELTS test to improve their opportunities for studying abroad were assisted by the IDP IELTS team present during the fair. Attendees who booked their IELTS test during the event were given exclusive promos and discounts. 

A mini version of Study, Explore, Soar: Canada Education Fair was also held last September 18 at Reedley International School and was attended by more than 130 students, together with their parents.

Study, Explore, Soar: Canada Education Fair 2023 Cebu leg was held at Radisson Blu Cebu, Sergio Osmeña Boulevard corner Juan Luna Avenue, Cebu City, while the Manila leg was held at Dusit Thani Manila, Ayala Center, Makati City.
