IDP Philippines Brings Back Biggest Study Abroad Fair in Manila and Cebu

IDP Philippines, forges the path to studying abroad for Filipinos with the biggest International Education Fair this year held in Cebu and Manila last September 24 and 25, respectively.

IDP Philippines’ International Education Fair 2022 was the institution’s first major post-pandemic face-to-face event with the aims of helping future international students find the right academic institution and country destination.

This year's theme, ‘Growing towards the future' highlighted the essence of how studying abroad and obtaining an international degree helps individuals grow in terms of international education, expanding career prospects, experiencing new cultures, and being better prepared in facing the future.

IDP Philippines’ Country Director, Jose Miguel Habana, said that now that the countries’ borders have opened and restrictions have become more lenient, we can say that now is the best time for students to pursue their studies overseas.

“As much as the students are excited about travelling abroad, countries and institutions are also looking forward to welcoming international students, especially those coming from the Philippines. What’s good is that IDP is here to help students from school applications to pre-departure orientations and all for free,” he added.

Schools from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the United Kingdom came to the two key cities in the Philippines and met with aspiring international students to discuss their study options. Attendees also got the opportunity to meet with IDP’s Education Counselors for a free consultation to guide them and give them advice on which schools are best fit for their study abroad credentials and preferences.

The IDP IELTS team was also present at the International Education Fair to assist attendees with their IELTS inquiries and test bookings. Exclusive promos and discounts were also given to those who booked their IELTS test at the event.

IDP Philippines’ International Education Fair also gave aspiring international students the privilege of applying for their chosen institution at the event, book an appointment with the Education Counselors, and avail of IDP’s other services such as IDP FastLane, as well as helping students find accommodations, health insurance, and setting up bank accounts through IDP’s Student Essential Services.

The International Education Fair 2022 Cebu leg was held at Marco Polo Plaza, Cebu Veterans Drive, Cebu City on September 24, 2022, while the Manila leg was held at Dusit Thani Manila, Ayala Center, Makati City on September 25, 2022.
