IDP Philippines Brings Services Closer to More Filipinos with New Office in Makati City 

IDP Philippines officially opens their new office last November 23, 2022, at The Enterprise Center, Makati City. The IDP Makati Office provides IDP’s free study abroad services and their new Computer-Delivered International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test center.

Country Director of IDP Philippines, Jose Miguel Habana, IDP Southeast Asia’s Regional Director, Raja Sood, Ireland Ambassador to the Philippines, his excellency William Carlos, Deputy Head of Mission of the Australian Embassy to the Philippines, Mr. Richard Sisson, and the rest of IDP Philippines’ Country Leadership team led the office opening and ribbon cutting ceremonies.

The opening and ribbon cutting ceremonies were then followed by a press conference attended by local media onsite and via Zoom.

With the IDP Makati Office, face-to-face counseling, study abroad student services, and the world’s leading high-stakes English language proficiency test has now become more accessible for Filipinos living in the southern part of the National Capital Region and nearby regions in Luzon.

Jose Miguel Habana, Country Director for IDP Philippines, said that as the market grows year-on-year, they also need to grow as fast, if not faster.

“Next year, we’re looking to open in at least four more locations all over the country with the goal to bring IDP's services closer to their customers and guide them in their lifelong learning and career aspirations whether they are planning to study overseas or taking the IELTS test,” he added.

Raja Sood, IDP Southeast Asia's Regional Director mentions how he is proud of what the Philippines team have been able to achieve in the past couple of months.

IDP currently has two other offices offering both study abroad and IELTS services located in Ortigas, Pasig City and Cebu City. IDP also recently opened its office in Baguio City offering free study abroad assistance and consultations exclusively.

To add, IDP has four shared laboratories offering Computer-Delivered IELTS in Baguio City, Bacolod City, Davao City, Pampanga, and more to come.
