Why Filipinos should study MBA in Australia

Australia is one of the top study destinations for international students. As per the QS ranking, it is among the top 5 study destinations for international students who want to pursue an MBA abroad. Here are some top reasons why students choose to study an MBA in Australia:

  • IELTS: Students need to demonstrate a decent IELTS score of a minimum 6.5 overall in IELTS with no band less than 6.0. 
  • GMAT: Most Australian colleges and universities accept GMAT scores when granting admission to MBA program. A good GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) score is required to get into the best college to pursue an MBA. However, the average GMAT score for admission to an Australian university is 590. It is a good idea to stay up to date on changes in the exam pattern and other such things. 

Apart from these, there are still a lot of documentary preparation that needs to be done and the interview process is known to be extensive.

Are there any possibilities that the students can study in MBA without GMAT score? 
The answer is yes! The Australian Education System focuses on practical expertise which means the institutions, gives credence to work experience apart from the academic score. Hence, even without GMAT, Australian universities would require applicants to have consistent high scores across their high school and graduation. Here are some of the criteria that you need to pass when applying an MBA in Australia without GMAT: 

  • Bachelor's Degree: Candidates are more likely than not to finish a Bachelor degree in any field from a perceived college. 
  • IELTS: Students need to demonstrate a decent IELTS score of a minimum 6.5 overall in IELTS with no band less than 6.0. 
  • Work Experience: Having work experience of around 2-3 years will certainly be valuable to your application. A large portion of Australian colleges and universities gives great considerations to applicants with 2-3 years of work experience.
