About Computer-delivered IELTS for UK Visas and Immigration

You can take the IELTS for UK Visas and Immigration through paper or on a computer. The Computer-delivered IELTS test is being offered in Manila, Cebu, Baguio, and Davao for both Academic and General Training modules.

Taking the IELTS on a computer can give you the experience of a fast and convenient way to take the test! The computer-delivered tests are held selected days and registrations on a test date may close one full. Take note that there are only 15 available slots per session.

Why take the IELTS for UKVI (A) on a computer?

• Take your test in a more relaxed environment, since only 14 other candidates will be present in the room as you take your test
• Time management will be made easier because of the screen countdown
• High quality headphones are available during the Listening section of the test, allowing you to focus more
• You can also highlight passages using your mouse which will help you during the Reading Section of your test
• Editing or erasing is made easier if you prefer typing on a computer for the Writing section of the test

The Speaking test will remain face-to-face, conducted with a live IDP examiner, as we believe it is the most effective way of assessing your speaking skills and prompts a more lifelike performance. All other aspects are the identical, whether it is taken on paper or on computer.


• Although the test will be taken on a computer, all other aspects of the test are identical with the paper-based IELTS.
