Australian Development Scholarships

The Australian Government Aid Program offers Australian Development Scholarships (ADS) for students looking to pursue Masters’ and Doctorate programs at higher education institutions in Australia.

Programs of study must relate to the following fields: Basic Education; Social Protection/Welfare; Peace and Development; Public Financial Management; Disaster Risk Reduction and Management; Climate Change Adaptation; Organizational Development/Human Resource Management and Development; Trade; Foreign Relations; Pandemics (Preparedness and Management).

Australia Awards

The Australia Awards Scholarships have been an essential component of the Australian Government's aid program in the Philippines. It provides high-achieving Filipino development leaders the opportunity to pursue postgraduate studies in Australia’s premier academic institutions and contribute to Philippine development.

Australian Government Research Training Program

The Research Training Program (RTP) provides block grants, on a calendar year basis, to higher education providers (HEPs). It aims to support both domestic and international students undertaking Research Doctorate and Research Masters degrees, known as higher degrees by research (HDRs). Applications for RTP Scholarships need to be made directly to participating universities in Australia. Each university has its own application and selection process, please contact your chosen university directly to discuss how to apply for the RTP scheme.

Students can be offered RTP scholarships for one or more of the following: tuition fees offset, stipend for general living costs, or allowances related to the ancillary cost of research degrees.
