Entry requirements

Entry requirements

Brock University employs a minimum academic credential system for undergraduate admission consideration. This depends on the national curriculum students have studied previously, so they are encouraged to check the university website for full information and equivalence lists of the credentials required to apply. Students who meet the minimum requirements are not automatically guaranteed admission. Admission is also based on academic performance, course prerequisites and English language proficiency, as well as other factors.

If a student does not meet the requirements of their preferred program, Brock will automatically assess them for an alternate offer of admission. Should they not meet the English language requirements, Brock will refer them to Brock's own English as a Second Language program.

There are different admission requirements for specific degree programs and entry points. Prospective students are encouraged to visit the course-specific information pages on the university website for full details before submitting an application.

In the 2021/22 academic year, the university had a general acceptance rate of 73 per cent.
