The university offers more than 340 undergraduate and graduate degrees. The faculty at Kent State do more than beside imparting education. They share, provide, collaborate, participate, and inspire learning, turning students into independent thinkers and, more importantly, into doers.
Kent State University comprises eight unique campuses. The Kent Campus is spread across 950 acres. In 2018, Kent State was ranked the safest big college campus in Ohio and 25th safest in the country, according to the National Council for Home Safety and Security. The university has a full-time, certified police force of more than 30 sworn officers who protect the campus. These officers are visible, well-trained and on duty 24/7 in support of students, staff, faculty and visitors.
