As a deliberately smaller university, with approximately 12,000 students, the Notre Dame experience is a personal one. Students don't get lost in the crowd. This enables university to properly support students, and allows students to fully immerse in Australian culture.
Notre Dame offers quality undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees in a range of fields like Business, Arts & Sciences, Philosophy & Theology, Education, Law, Health Sciences, Nursing & Midwifery, Physiotherapy, Medicine. It also offers an English language program for international students.
The university student association is at the centre of student life and all its students are its member of an association that represents and supports all students and develops Notre Dame’s unique student community. There are numerous student’s clubs and societies offering opportunities to student to develop socially, culturally, professionally, spiritually and academically.
Campus life supports and enables participation in a wide variety of sporting, social and cultural pursuits. Students can get involved in social sporting competition, club sport or intervarsity events such as Eastern University Games and the Australian University Games.
The university’s foundation Campus is located in the historic West End of the port city of Fremantle, south of Perth. Housed within beautifully restored heritage buildings, it provides a ‘town university’ of great character. The iconic Campus is close to the Fremantle Harbour, cafés, shops and the famous ‘Cappuccino Strip’, and all major transport hubs.
Broome Campus provides a unique environment for students, offering practical learning opportunities and cultural awareness training, in the heart of Australia’s iconic Kimberley region. Sydney Campus is based across two sites, Broadway and Darlinghurst that are both located in the vibrant social hub of the harbour city.
