Central Lancashire comprises 20 academic Schools which are supported by their professional services that contribute to the effective running of the University. It offers a variety of activities for students in Further Education, Secondary and Primary schools, either on campus or in schools and colleges, as well as providing information and support for teachers and careers advisers. Several specialist teams work with different student groups. The School and College Liaison team is committed to working alongside schools, academies, free schools, sixth forms, further education colleges and University Technical Colleges to support the progression of students to higher education.
Preston Campus is right at the heart of the city, just minutes away from its vibrant shopping centre, attractions and nightlife. Compact city centre campus is a blend of fantastic architectural styles and is a vibrant community where students can work, live, socialize and relax. Across the campus, the buildings are home to specialist laboratories and workshops, performance theatres and studios, social spaces and places to eat and drink.
