Suffolk’s STEM-designated MSM program provides you with the knowledge and tools to make smart, strategic decisions in a rapidly changing marketplace. Learn how to sustain meaningful and valuable customer relationships, develop new markets, build distinguished brands, and create successful public and private enterprises—giving you a competitive edge in any sector. In as few as 9 months (full-time) or 21 months (part-time), you’ll gain the business marketing fundamentals and expertise to accelerate your career growth. Our MSM graduates go on to pursue rewarding and successful marketing careers, including CMO roles.

Our innovative, STEM-designated MSM program combines foundational marketing principles with emerging industry trends. With courses focused on marketing analytics, research methods, and practical hands-on learning through client consulting projects, you’ll be prepared to pursue roles in customer insights, digital marketing, and strategic marketing management. Additionally, the program's experiential requirement via a practicum or internship and optional travel seminars give you opportunities to acquire additional experience and qualifications in real-world settings.
Marketing intelligence has become a crucial tool for organizations to make accurate and confident decisions in their marketing strategies. In this concentration, students will focus on establishing this competency by deepening their knowledge and application in key topics such as research design, qualitative and quantitative data analysis, insights visualizations, and data-driven marketing strategies.

Note: Students must have passed a university-level statistics course in the past 5 years (B or better), have equivalent industry experience, or have an undergraduate degree in natural science (biology, chemistry, physics), engineering, math, business, computer and information sciences, finance, marketing, or social and behavioral sciences (psychology, economics, sociology and political science). Applicants not meeting this criteria may submit GMAT or GRE scores for consideration. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The TOEFL examination is given in internet-based (iBT) and paper-based formats. A minimum TOEFL score of 80 in the iBT scoring system (with no subscore lower than 17) or 550 on the paper-based is required to be considered for full admission. International English Language Testing System (IELTS). A minimum score of 6.5 (with no subscore below 6.0) is required to be considered for full admission.
