The department’s newest concentration draws on the resources and faculty expertise within the English Department and also reaches out to other areas of the University, including child psychology and literacy studies. Students who choose the Children's and Young Adult Literature concentration complete course work in literature, creative writing, publishing studies, and psychology to develop the knowledge and skills needed to contribute to the field of children's literature as writers, critics, and/or editors.

Entry requirements for 霍夫斯特拉大學
Requirements to apply include: Completed application Nonrefundable application fee Transcripts for all secondary and postsecondary coursework (Transcripts for Grades 9, 10, and 11 must be in English.) SAT or ACT (optional for admission, required for scholarship consideration) Demonstrated English proficiency (A variety of tests and other criteria, such as TOEFL or IELTS, will fulfill this requirement, please contact us for a full list.) One letter of recommendation Once you are conditionally accepted
