Gain the core skills you need to pursue a career in the audio industry, have the chance to collaborate with your peers, build your portfolio and practical experience, and be mentored by well-connected industry professionals in Australia's leading, award-winning audio engineering course. During the Bachelor Degree, explore acoustic design, microphone techniques, audio electronics and music production and how this can be applied to mixed media such as television, film, digital design and games. Collaborating with students on real projects in these same areas will give you a broader context in which to apply your skills and expand your professional network. You’ll also get the opportunity to specialise in an area most aligned to your skills and interests by taking electives including Live Events, Studio Production, Sound for Screen and Electronic Music Production.

Explore post-production, surround sound and large-scale live sound systems, develop an area of specialisation and create a tailored showreel designed to kick-start your career in the industry.

Entry requirements for JMC 創意學院

Proof of English proficiency: minimum IELTS 6.0 overall (with no single band score below 5.5) or equivalent.
Evidence of successful completion of a senior Secondary School certificate (transcripts and certificate must be translated and certified).
Attend an interview in person or over skype.
You must be at least 18 years of age on commencement of studies.
Contemporary Music applicants must undertake an audition. Audition videos/online links are accepted for applicants living overseas or interstate.
Songwriting applicants may undertake an audition OR submit a folio. The folio can consist of song lyrics, charts, recorded original songs or other relevant items as discussed with the admissions officer.
Animation, Games and Digital Design applicants are required to prepare a portfolio of sample work/drawings.
Applications will be accepted until 2 weeks before the course commences, but please note that visa applications can take considerably longer than two weeks to process. Please contact the Australian Embassy in your home country for recommended timeframes for processing your visa application.

TOEFL:
iBT: 73 overall with a minimum writing score of 18
