If you come from an architectural, urban planning, archaeological, historical, engineering or related background, this course will develop your specialist conservation and adaptive reuse skills. We also welcome applicants from other disciplines.
This program will introduce you to methods and practices of conservation, designing and building new buildings in old settings, and the history, theory, law and policy of this unique area.
You will be educated in the use of new and old material, alteration design, additions and modifications to existing buildings, and the sustainable, ethical and equitable development of sites in light of its past uses.

Entry requirements for 雪梨大學
A successful applicant for admission to the Certificate of Heritage Conservation will hold a bachelor's degree or possess experience which is considered to demonstrate the knowledge and aptitude required to undertake the course. Students who complete the Graduate Certificate with a WAM of 70 or higher are able to apply to to continue into the Masters degree in the same course stream. Masters and Diploma students may also opt to graduate with a lower level of certification once the required units are complete.
IELTS score A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band
Toefl Pbt A minimum result of 592 overall including a minimum result of 4.5 in Writing
Toefl ibt A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 17 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 19 in Writing
English language requirements
