The UoW International Progression Bursary was established in 2022 to support international students to progress from undergraduate to postgraduate level study for the first time at the University of Waikato

To be eligible for an offer of the bursary, students must:

• not be classified as a domestic student
• be due to complete their undergraduate degree programme at the University of Waikato within the next six months

To maintain eligibility and receive the bursary, recipients must:

• enrol full-time in a postgraduate programme of study in the next intake for that programme of study
• remain enrolled full-time during the Award tenure
• maintain ‘international student' status within the University's student management system during the entire tenure of the award.
