Bachelor degrees in Interior Design, Graphic Design, Fashion Design and Game Programming

LaSalle College Vancouver offers the most affordable, accessible and accelerated bachelor degrees in Canada. Unlimited seats for international students, accessible admission requirements and total program length varying from 2,5 to 3 years make our programs some of the most competitive in all of Canada.

Associate of Arts degree

Vancouver's quickest and most affordable Associate of Arts degree, starting at CAD 23,000 for international students.

The Associate of Arts Degree is a dynamic way for students to earn credits toward a university degree while exploring their interests and gaining a broad foundation of knowledge.

LaSalle College Vancouver offers the quickest and most affordable undergraduate Associate of Arts degree in the private education sector in British Columbia. Students can finish this 60-credit degree in 12 or 18 months, a fraction of the time required for a standard Associate of Arts program. There is also financial support in the form of a bursary available. To qualify, students will need to take at least four courses (12 credits) per quarter and maintain a minimum 2.4 GPA each quarter (other conditions also apply).

This Associate of Arts degree is students' pathway to a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in several areas including communication studies, arts and humanities, as well as behavioural and social sciences. Close to 150 LaSalle College Vancouver courses are articulated via the BC Transfer Guide with more than 25 post-secondary institutions across the province.

New state-of-the-art campus in 2024

LaSalle College Vancouver is proud to announce that it will be moving into a new purpose-built education center driven by technology, active learning, and social engagement. Students and staff came together to establish a space where architecture, technology and art merge, creating a future-focused learning environment. It will have 7 floors with over 108,000 square feet, located next door to the current campus and set to open in 2024.

The building will offer access to outdoor space, rooms for physical activity, healthy food options and a meditation area. In addition, the building's design is guided by both Fitwel and Rick Hansen Gold certifications, making it a health first building that is accessible to people of differing abilities.

Associate of Arts

This degree, the quickest and most affordable in Vancouver, is a dynamic way to earn credits toward a university degree while exploring areas of interest and gaining a broad foundation of knowledge. Culinary School

This premier food-industry focused academic model that thoroughly prepares students for an enriching career in the culinary arts. Accredited programs include hands-on kitchen instruction from industry experts in a modern, state-of-the-art facility.

Entry requirements

Entry requirements

Academic criteria

New students are evaluated on their educational backgrounds. To be admitted, students must complete a number of tasks, including:

  • Attend an interview, either online, in person or on the phone
  • Show evidence of completed secondary school or equivalent, or qualify as a mature student (19 years or older)
  • Submit an application form and enrollment agreement
  • Pay an application fee
  • Submit a 250-word essay if applying to a bachelor degree program (except Bachelor of Fashion Design)
  • Bachelor of Fashion Design degree requires a 500-word essay and portfolio submission

English language criteria

Instruction is in English, so non-native speakers need good English language proficiency before enrolling in a program. A range of language tests are accepted, such as those with the following minimum scores:

  • Cambridge (Advanced levels) – B2 First 162+ for certificate and diploma, C1 Advanced 176+ for a bachelor's and associate degree
  • IELTS Academic – 5.5 for certificate and diploma, 6.5 with min. 6.0 in writing for a bachelor's and associate degree
  • PTE Academic – 45 with min. 51 in writing for certificate and diploma, 61 with min. 60 in writing for a bachelor's and associate degree
  • TOEFL IBT – 75 for certificate and diploma, 80 with min. 20 in writing for a bachelor's and associate degree
  • Duolingo – 85-90 for certificate and diploma, 105-110 with a min. 100 in writing for a bachelor's and associate degree
