Does the university provide career support

The University of Reading does provide career support. There are dedicated careers teams and they can help you with your CV, with practicing with interviews as well as writing a cover letter. And there are career help sessions that you can attend as well. There's also a platform called myjobsonline where you can look for job opportunities in the UK and in reading specifically, as well as internships.

Whatever I've achieved is because of the University itself. The Career services is another service that the University provides which is pretty helpful in terms of preparing students to go for job interviews and helping them get into ease while giving an interview. Because everyone's so stressed when they're giving an interview. We have the Career services. I use them a couple of times. So I attended some workshops about employable skills. Employability communication skills has to be adults have to engage in adult life. Those workshops really helped a lot. I came there to do a lot of my actual counseling with them. I don't know what I want to do. I also give my resume for them for a few times to get it in the perfect spot so I can apply for other jobs as well. As I always go through career hard to see whatever kind of events or job posts that they have. So for me personally, whenever I've taken a session with the Career Services before I interview, I've ended up getting that job. It's been pretty good.
