The answer to this question will vary by institution, so make sure you're looking at the admissions requirements carefully. At Western New England University, we don't require any work experience to apply for our master's programs. We look for your undergraduate transcripts, proof of English proficiency. In some cases, we'll look for GRE, not for our engineering programs, though, recommendation letters and a copy of your resume. But like I said, no prior work experience is needed.
