Hey, everyone, it's Lisa from Shoreline, what is OPT? Great question. It is the opportunity to take a full time job usually paid in your field of study as a benefit of your student visa. So at the community college level, you would get one year no matter what your major. And after the bachelor's degree, you would get one to three years depending on your major.
