When planning for your finances, consider your expenses for accommodation, meals, transport, books and other daily expenses. Depending on your location and lifestyle, you should consider the accommodation that suits your budget. Official estimation on how much you normally spend a year in Australia is $21,000, but this really varies on where you live and how you decide to budget things. So for me, I live in Melbourne, where Swinburne is located, and I live in this city, and I move around in the city a lot. And for me, the cost of public transport is actually free. And I spent around 17,000 a year.
