Hi. When packing to come to Southern California, we have the most ideal weather. Year round, an average of 60 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit, so it's perfect for wearing layers. You want to have a light scarf and a jacket in the morning and then be able to remove that to a cooler outfit midday. And then, of course, when the sun sets in the evening, you'll want that layering up again. We're also two hours away from snowy mountain tops or the hot desert. So any clothing appropriate for that climate would be great as well.

International students should bring to the US, will depend on the state and the city you are going to. Every place in the US has a different type of temperature. So, for example, at Portland State, located in Portland, Oregon, it does rain quite a bit. So I would recommend a rain jacket, something warm, but also comfy clothes as well.

What should you pack? Well, it totally depends what state you're in for Clarksons, Massachusetts, you want to pack for four seasons, a warm to cool fall, a cold, snowy winter, a warmer, potentially rainy spring and a hot, sunny summer. Don't worry about bringing everything you need. There are a bunch of shopping areas in and around the city of Lyster, Boston and the state of Massachusetts. New York City shopping is also only just a few hours away.

In addition to legal documents such as R20, passport, visa and a photo I.D., we suggest to bring items that will keep you comfortable while your sister was being southern in California, is known for its mild and pleasant weather. And sunshine is pretty much stable throughout the year. However, weather can vary from cold and rainy to extremely hot days. Temperature can vary anywhere from the range of four degrees Celsius to 40 degrees Celsius. We understand that moving to a different country for a long period of time can be difficult to help with this. We also suggest to pack momentos of personal significance that will remind you of family and friends from back home to help you get through the days you feel homesick.

Hi, this is Raffi Muroy from Suffolk University in Boston. What should international students bring when they come to the US? I would say just the bare minimum things, things that you need in order to survive your initial first days, because everything else so you probably will find here and you'll be able to adapt and you'll be able to sort of take take advantage of good sales and whatever else you need here, including your books, including your clothing, including, you know, some of your lifestyle options that you may have available. So really bring what you want to what you absolutely need. Maybe it's prescription medication.

Western New England University
Transcript
When you start packing for your travels to the U.S., make sure you check the university website to see if they have a recommended list of things to pack. I know at Western New England we have a really great list which can help you decide what you want to bring. Some things you should absolutely bring include your acceptance letter to the university. Your form I-20, plane tickets, of course. Maybe any mementos that you want to bring with family, any other materials you received from the school. And most importantly, don't forget to bring an open mind and an interest in learning.
